1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing BDInvesting.org, purchasing a membership, or participating in our private communities, you agree to these Terms of Service and applicable policies.
2. Educational Content
BD Investing provides educational content, market commentary, investment research, trading discussions, courses, and access to an online investing community.
Content is intended for general informational and educational purposes and does not take into account any individual's financial circumstances, objectives, or risk tolerance.
BD Investing is not registered as an investment adviser or dealer. No advisory, brokerage, or fiduciary relationship is created by purchasing a membership.
3. Investment Risks and Personal Trade Disclosures
All investing and trading involves risk, including the possible loss of invested capital.
Personal buy and sell disclosures reflect the contributor's own trading activity and are not instructions for subscribers to replicate those trades.
Members are solely responsible for assessing their investments and consulting qualified professionals where appropriate.
Past performance, hypothetical results, and personal portfolio returns do not guarantee future results.
4. Memberships and Payments
BD Investing may offer monthly subscriptions, annual subscriptions, courses, and lifetime access products.
All prices, renewal terms, applicable taxes, and billing arrangements will be disclosed before purchase.
Recurring subscriptions renew according to the terms presented at checkout until cancelled.
5. Refunds and Cancellation
BD Investing offers a voluntary three-day refund policy, subject to the conditions disclosed at checkout and applicable law.
Refund requests must be submitted within three calendar days of the initial purchase.
Cancelling a subscription prevents future renewals but does not automatically refund prior charges.
Nothing in this policy limits mandatory consumer cancellation or refund rights under applicable law.
6. Lifetime Memberships
Lifetime access refers to access for the operational lifetime of the specific purchased product or service, not the lifetime of the purchaser.
Any material limitations, product discontinuation rights, or exclusions must be disclosed before purchase.
7. Discord and Community Rules
Membership access is personal and non-transferable.
Members may not redistribute paid research, resell access, share accounts, harass others, impersonate staff, or engage in market manipulation.
BD Investing may suspend or terminate access for material violations, subject to applicable consumer laws and refund rights.
8. Third-Party Contributors
Community moderators, guest speakers, and other contributors may share independent opinions. Unless expressly stated otherwise, their views do not represent official positions of BD Investing.
9. Affiliate and Sponsorship Disclosures
BD Investing may receive sponsorship payments, affiliate commissions, referral compensation, or other benefits from third parties.
Material financial relationships and conflicts of interest will be disclosed where relevant and as required by applicable law.
10. Content Ownership
Educational materials, videos, research, branding, and other original content remain the intellectual property of BD Investing or their respective owners.
Purchasing access grants a limited, personal, non-commercial licence to use the content.
11. Availability and Accuracy
Information may be delayed, incomplete, inaccurate, or subject to change.
BD Investing does not guarantee uninterrupted platform availability, real-time delivery of commentary, or the accuracy of third-party market data.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, BD Investing is not liable for losses resulting from independent investment decisions, market fluctuations, or reliance on educational content.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded.
13. Privacy
Personal information will be collected, used, and protected in accordance with our separate Privacy Policy and applicable privacy laws.
14. Changes to Terms
BD Investing may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes affecting existing members will be communicated as required by law.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and applicable federal laws of Canada, without overriding mandatory consumer protections in other applicable jurisdictions.
